Copenhagen 26/11 2015. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Promises to be refreshing and bitter on the label.
Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Leaves only a flimsy layer of foam. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma has an ok balance between malty sweetness and light bitterness. A little fruity sourness.
Fizzy carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is sweet malt with a touch of citrus. A bit watery. Followed by a slightly metallic bitterness.
Not a fantastic pilsner - but with an ok bitterness compared to many discount beers. Good old Carl could have selected a more interesting beer than this watery brew.
