Don’t let this beer’s inky black appearance fool you. Our Blackberry Oatmeal Cream Stout boasts extreme drinkability. At just 5.9% ABV, it’s incredibly creamy and full-bodied, with just a hint of berry on the finish contributed by the blackberry purée added.

From a 12 oz bottle in an Adirondack Brewer's Fantasy Pack
Out of a Weizen glass
Appearance: Opaque deep brown color, thick frothy long-lasting brown head, thin rings of lacing
Aroma: Very malty: Chocolate, cocoa, the vaguest hint of blackberry
Taste/Flavor: Smoky roasted malts. Sweetness of cocoa and berries. Initially, a tart blackberry finish which diminished at time went on. Aftertaste of sweetness and smoky malts
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body (surprisingly so for a stout), moderate carbonation, smooth creamy finish
Overall: Easy drinking, but nothing special to brag about. Seemed not as creamy as advertised. Seemed watery for an oatmeal stout
