Two new experiences for us on this one: 1.Lactose in an IPA 2. Experimental 06300 hops. The result is a huge IPA in theory (10.5% ABV), but because of the lactose drinks incredibly smooth. Incredibly complex notes of White Grape, Stone Fruit, Clementine, and the inside of a Cow Tail Candy.

Thanks to my sis-in-law for hauling this from the brewery a week ago....and yes, a well poured growler will last for at least a week. Golden yellow in color with a hazy, unfiltered look. Poured with a thick, creamy, bright white foam with excellent retention. Medium light dark fruit and over-ripe lemon aromas with malty notes. Medium bodied with an incredible, creamy, silk smooth feel. Subtle, pleasant warmth from the middle to the end. Medium high flavors of mellow dark fruit with medium sticky malty notes. Medium hop bitterness through the middle. Finished mellow sweet malty and fruity flavors. Bitterness was a little on the light side, but the unique flavors and incredible feel make this fabulous. Dangerously drinkable considering the double digit abv.
