Had with the sampler and bought a growler after. The appearance definitely lived up to its "red" title but it was on the lighter side, almost copperish. Decent sized head. The aromas had slight malt and hops with a generally light roast hint. Slightly sweet with some caramel like flavors and some fruit. Just a little off and the sweetness ends eventually sip after sip. Good body gives it a crispness and keeps some of that sweetness alive for a bit. Overall, it was not too bad.
