Inspired by the crisp, clean Pilsners of the Old World, Bobcat was designed as a light-bodied lager with a subtle bitterness and an uncanny ability to pair with a wide variety of food. Golden and refreshing, Bobcat utilizes noble german hop varieties to create an easy-going and highly drinkable Pilsner.

Black color, thin, beige head. The aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, and vanilla. Moderate roasted bitterness in taste. Closer to dry finish. Decent.

12 oz bottle from Halftime. Skunked or just not that great? Pale golden pour, one finger head. Papery aroma. Taste follows with some somewhat oxidized notes, sharp, tangy, more wet paper. Lemons.

Definite notes of cabbage, radish and beet. Maybe the weak ghost of hops? Nearly undrinkable.

Bobcat Pilsner pours a golden color, with a nice long lasting and lacing head. Aroma is very grainy. Flavor is light, very sweet, hints of apple and butter. Flat. Overall, not much here, very sweet, fruity like flavors.

On tap at Dinosaur BBQ in Troy, NY.
This one pours a light straw yellow, clear as day, with a small foamy head, and not much lacing.
This smells like slight grassy hops, vague sweetness, and just a general lager aroma.
This is definitely drinkable and tasty, but kind of bland/muddled. There's a very light hop character, and too much sweetness for the style- I want some dryness and some crispness.
This is very light bodied, and definitely quite drinkable, but it doesn't quite have that crisp refreshing feel I desire in top level pilsners.
I'm happy to have tried this, but there are much better pilsners out there.

Light crisp aroma, with a touch of noble earthy hops. Pours a mostly clear pale straw with a quickly fading white head. There's a touch of malt sweetness, which fades to a mild earthy bitter finish. A light body, and nice carbonation keeps this an easy drinking pils.
