this beer is far better than its ratings, brewed i think by breckenridge for some places downtown, i dont mid this very mild pale ale. its only minimally hoppy, especially for an american style, but its not bad at all, and in fact is pretty drinkable because its light, dry, and well carbonated. my issue with it is how safe it is, almost bland. appealing perhaps the the coors drinker looking for a craft beer that isnt going to blow him up, but there are enough of those around that this probably could have been a little more distinctive, especially with a new brand like this. i do like the feel, even though the grassy hops are lost a little to balance. its very well carbonated and drinks fast, refreshing, and clean finishing. not my favorie example of the style by any means, but its much better than the below average scores it has here on BA so far.

The other Big Nose beers were average, this is below. Perhaps it's the hop head in me that judges this one a bit harsher.
Light copper pour, little head, no lacing.
Aroma is more like an American Adjunct Lager, stale malt mostly. Some hops and spice, but nothing to get excited about.
Token hop presence with the taste. Mostly pale malt, some crystal. Has a 'green', un-matured taste. The lack of hops doesn't serve the mouthfeel too well. Kinda flat and ho-hum.
