Fox Mountain Brewing Co.

Been going right past this place for years now and finally got a chance to stop in on my last trip through. Inside of the building is pretty cool. Imagine a log cabin atmosphere inside your standard steel sided building. Went around 1:30 in the afternoon. Not busy, no more than 10 customers eating and enjoying their beers. No music, nice to be able to converse with the bartender without shouting. I generally like the beers I bought, only one dud out the six I’ve tried, but some of the dates on the cans are quite old. Nearing 4 months. Understandable, since they’re just getting into tourist season but I’d definitely be in a rush to eliminate that old stock if I were in charge. Bartender gal was very nice and helpful. I might be rating the selection a bit high, only 8 different brews in the to-go cooler. I believe they have 5 core beers and the rest were seasonal releases but I like this brewery model. I definitely prefer a small brewery with a small selection over one that has more taps than seats at the bar. Not rating food since I had already eaten lunch before I arrived, but the food looked good. Standard pub fare. Glad I stopped in and would strongly encourage anyone else driving by to do the same.
