2024 bottle.
Black colour, creamy tan head.
Aroma: coffee, roasted malt, cacao, dark chocolate, brown sugar, some molasses, fermented plums.
Taste: roasted malt, coffee, some toffee, some plums, hint of liquorice, rye, dark syrup. Dry.
Would probably gain character with some aging.

The beer is black with brown traits, a brown compact head. Good lacing and good curtains.
A smell of brown sugar, prunes, and some nettles.
The taste starts with sweet bread, prune jam, dried apples, bitter oranges and fermented fruit.
Little carbonation, soft texture with a medium body, slightly boozy.
Started well, looks and smell fine, but the taste seems a bit immature.
