Sárgarigó is a pumpkin ale, aged for three months in carefully-selected oak barrels, which previously held one of Gemenc Distillery's whiskeys for years. This aging process has enriched the beer's character, resulting in a unique flavor profile.
Upon the first sip, you'll immediately notice the whiskey aroma, delicately complemented by hints of cloves, nutmeg, ginger, and brown sugar. The pumpkin subtly lingers in the background, as it doesn't belong to the dominant flavors, but its smoothness and magnificent golden color are thanks to the use of over 15 kg of raw pumpkins during the brewing process.
