500 ml bottle from Riga, about 2 or 3 weeks after brewing.
Pours dark copper with large creamy tan head that slowly fades to dense layer of one half finger thickness, leaves nice looking patchy lacing. Aroma is sweetish malt, a bit of burned and light herbal hops.
Taste is moderately sweet malt, some roasted bitterness with medium dry finish and light bittery aftertaste. Mouthfeel is smooth light-medium with average carbonation, at the end of the glass smooth and light alcohol warming could be felt.
Overall, an average and quite drinkable dark lager. I think this is the best beer of Lacplesis, at least this one is drinkable.
