With rafts (in the name of the beer) they mean large wooden rafts used up to some 50 years ago to float the wood down the river. The beer is sold quite cheap and it also does not carry Lāčplēsis brand, so it is kind of discount beer.

Pours very pale golden with small head that almost immediately dissipates, leaves very nice looking thin patchy lacing all over the glass. Aroma is almost none - very weak lemony malt in the beginning, later absolutely nothing can be felt.

Taste is herbal bitterness, even felt rather sharp in the beginning of glass, possibly due to carbonation, light hints of lemon. Weak bitterness and some malt in the very short aftertaste, actually the beer has strong watery feel to it. Mouthfeel is light with high carbonation.

Overall, nothing worth buying or drinking.
