I had this beer on-tap in a dimpled mug at the brewery in Hatvan.
Appearance: medium golden hue with just a little dash of haze and a thick head of frothy white foam atop. Looks good!
Smell: light, crackery malt with a bit of yeastiness and a hint of earthy hops. It’s quite nice.
Taste: moderately sweet malt with a very lagery “beeriness”. A terrible way to describe a beer, but I can’t think of anything better. The hops are rather earthy. much more so than in say a Czech or German pilsner, but it’s similarly heavily hopped. It’s good, but it doesn’t entirely grab me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: although the flavor could maybe be a little more balanced, it’s still a darn refreshing beer on a nice day.
