Rebel Lager

I had this beer on-tap in kind of an IPA glass at the brewery in Hatvan.

Appearance: medium golden-orange hue with a little bit of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.

Smell: kind of a fruity yeasty character along with a somewhat bready maltiness. It’s not bad.

Taste: sweet with a kind of bready malty character like the aroma and a light bitterness with a slightly grassy noble hoppiness. It’s smooth and actually works quite well for me.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: I honestly don’t even know what style I’d call this; it’s a nicely malty lager with a rich texture and a balanced bitterness. I dig it.
