Our creamy, cascading homage to the famous Irish stout. Poured on nitro for a beautiful blanket of foam and a silky-smooth mouthfeel. Dark and loaded with balanced notes of rich chocolate and roasted coffee, with a subtle hop edge for balance.

Served on tap at the brewery. Black Dog pours a deep brown to black color topped by a 1-finger tan, creamy head.
Aroma presents dark, roasted malt with dark roast coffee up front, dark chocolate not far behind with dark fruit, toasted caramel and a little nuttiness in the background.
Taste is very rich, espresso and dark chocolate forward on the palate while the toasted caramel, plum, raisin and slight nuttiness comes through halfway and through to the backend of the palate. There's a pleasant bitterness on the finish and the coffee and dark chocolate lingers with it on the aftertaste. Delicious!
Black Dog has a full body, is velvety smooth and creamy on the palate. A masterpiece! This is very similar to the Guinness Foreign Extra, which is one of my go to stouts. I'll be going back for this one. Cheers y'all!
