A mid golden particularly effervescent beer that has a tightly packed head and a slight haze to it.
There is a weak Euro Pale Lager quality to the smell which is malt dominated.
A change from the typical Aussie Lager in that it is smoother and sweeter It is shallow and one dimensional though. Someone forgot to put the hops into this batch though.
The abundance of bubbles in the glass seem to get lost by the time it all gets to the mouth.
Pretty dull mouthfeel.
"Premium" seems to be reasonably easily applied sobriquet in the lager business.\The adjective is not appropriate to this beer.
Drinkable but why bother?

Another 'premium' on the aussie market, i was a bit hesitant to try it, and rightly so. A bland, boring, fizzy little concoction. I'd rather drink VB, coz at least its not trying to be something its not. This beer is a joke. An another embarrssing brewing effort, sooo boooring.

this is actually ok as a beer. even better since its come down in price, as this was way ridiculously expensive once upon a time.not a real great beer, but this sort of beer is something like crown lager should really be.

its only just that little bit better than say a stock standard euro lager. its along those lines, straw like, semi malty, fizzy with some hop bite,on nose and in mouth. its your regulation look for a lager but just has something a tad more substantial, but still not too exciting.

i dont mind drinking this, but even so... like the late great jack dyer once said about a football player, but applied to beer, this is a good ordinary brew.
