Rather a classic lager... not a big interest for any beer amator.

Bottle: a tall 330mL brown bottle. A cheesy, cheesy, cheesy label. But still... It is 'The Legendary' Duff Beer.

Appearance: nice and crisp, a light amber colour with plenty of carbonation. The head dissipates a bit too quickly.

Aroma: not much of an aroma - just some cheap grains and malt. Pretty ordinary.

Taste: a pretty awkward grain fug with a touch of honey and malt.

Aftertaste: drops away pretty quickly, but isn't good enough to want to keep putting away.

Mouth feel: a light to medium body with moderate carbonation.. It could use a bit more fizz.

Overall: this is just a cheap German lager with a different label. Good for a bit of a novelty, but just buy the German lagers - or better - wietbiers. It kind of reminds me of Monty Pyton's Holy Ale - a cheaply-produced beer with a higher price due to a memorable label. Unfortunately, a crap beer is a crap beer.

This is the Brazilian version which is pure malt.
Golden color with a thin head with low retention.
Predominant sweet malty aroma with a light hint of herbal hops
Malty and grainy taste with some herbal hops and hints of honey. Dry and mild bitter aftertaste.
Light body with medium carbonation.
Decent, not great, but with good execution. This one is much better than the one I had it a year ago, and definitely better than the usual adjunct lagers. It is worth it depending how much you pay for it.

Found this in a "Spuermarcat" in Barcelona. As a Simpson's fan, I couldn't resist.

It has a colour that's very similar to apple juice, which isn't always a great thing, but I'll try and be optimistic. It's highly carbonated and maintains a surprisingly decent head.

The aroma is sweet and slightly toasty. Nothing too complex, but nothing bad here either.

The flavour is broad and grainy. It gets a little flat towards the end, but it has a half-decent malt profile. It feels a bit on the watery side, but has a nice amount of hop bitterness towards the end.

Overall, This could have been a lot better, but it actually exceeded my expectations. It's an OK lager and is definitely worth the novelty!

Duff Beer

Appearance: light gold, medium head, and some good lacing.

Smell: malts and grain.

Taste: malts, grains, very faint hop, and slight honey.

Mouthfeel: medium-light.

It is an ok lager. It is more name than brew, but it isn't the greatest either.

A: Blond lager clear colour with sticky head.

S: Alcoholic malts, not well balanced.

T: Same as the smell, malts with sweet background, unpleasant taste of alcohol.

M: Light body with low carbonation.

D: Not very impressed. Homer, you're below average for me, sorry bud.

Blonde color, very clean. Greenish edges.
White decent head, not too much, but with a quite good hat.
Smell: malt, mais.
Nothing to mention in the taste too, same notes.
Relatively clean, and not undrinkable, even with is strong corn note.
A hint of bitterness.
Nothing toremember, if not the name...
