Pours a transparent golden orange with lively bubbles. The head is slightly off white, creamy tight bubbles and thick lacing. The nose is full of candied sugar and malt notes, spicy yeast, light metalic twang, faint lemon and some light citrusy hops. The taste is much of the same, candied sugars, faint chocolate malt, spicy yeast punch, lemon and faint citrus and floral hops in the finish. Body is light, very wet and soft on the tongue, strong carb and touch of a dry finish. A bit sweet in flavor and lacks the yeast and spice to balance.

A light golden beer, a white head, leaving nearly no lacing. Good curtains.

The smell is mainly sweet and spicy. Some yeast,

The taste has a rather clean sweetness, some white bread, spices and a clean bitterness..

Little carbonation, complex body, a bit oily and a dry finish.

A good trippel, easily accessible.

Pours a clean yellow color with a white head. In the aroma, a nice presence of candy sugar. In the taste, a small orange citrus with some nice dry sweetness. A small bite and medium bodied mouthfeel, with a dry orange citrus in the aftertaste. Very nice presence of citrus in a triple.

330 ml bottle, available in Norway 2007 (Vinmonopolet). Very pale blonde colour, slightly hazy. Huge white head. Very pleasant aroma of yeast, fruit and spices. The flavour is spicy and peppery, also notes of yeast, fruit and moderate hops. Alcohol is evident, but not dominant. Nice one.

Being careful to separate the yeast, this beer is reasonable clear. It has a golden color. The head is modest but it lasts a long time and leaves an ample blanket of lace on the glass.

Mild aroma, no notable hop or alcohol to the nose. (This version had an abv of 9.0%).

Nutty flavor with a strong alcohol bite. Served with a shot glass to place the yeast, which had the flavors one would expect. (Side note: I like this practice. It was great to taste the yeast separate from the "beer.") The beer has a strong citrusy bite. The swallow is peppery, but the aftertaste is short lived. The body is thinner than most tripels I've had.
