I had this beer on-tap in a big taster glass at Oregon Brewers Festival. This is listed by the brewer as a kriek, but it was fermented on lactobacillus so I'd consider it an American wild ale.

Appearance: rich amber hue with a little haze and a frothy tan foam head. I like the color.

Smell: somewhat buttery character right off the top with a little light cherry aroma. A little sweet, and nice, but not as fruity as I would like.

Taste: nice, tart cherry character with some of that butteriness from the aroma. The cherries come through well, though.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess. It works.

Overall: I usually really like cherry beers. This one is pretty good, but it doesn't blow me away.
