Starts with nice colortones sort of a dull reflective garnet and almost no head or carbonation. In fact, Bombay has the appearance of being cask-conditioned with initial outcroppings of broad thready lace adorning the rim. Head and lace rescind quickly. The aroma is citrus though the lack of carbonation releases little of it.
A slight chalkiness to the teeth limits the mouthfeel and my beer could have been a bit fresher. The scant carbonation accents the traditional British style which is somewhat out of favor in Cascadia these days. Still this is a credible IPA with a solid measure of dense, herbal-citrus hops and a satisfying bitter finish.

Draft at Broadway Grill. Lightly cloudy amber pour, small creamy head. Aroma and taste reflect a well balanced hop- malt mix. Classic NW style IPA, clean.

It appears solid amber in color with a small white head.
It smells very floral. I also get a pine like smell and a mild caramel malt type of a smell.
It tastes very floral and grassy like. The floral hop flavor is followed by a caramel like malt flavor. The caramel malt flavor was not overly sweet though. The beer ends with a full flavored hoppy bitterness.
It has moderate carbonation.
The drinkability is not bad. I could drink a few of this beer and it goes down smoothly.
Overall a decent IPA. It is nothing groundbreaking but it is enjoyable.

On tap at the Portland brewpub. Thanks to ramnuts for the dinner and the beer (sheesh, you paid for way too much of this trip).
A: Pours a cloudy copper-amber in the pint glass with a short-lived off-white head. Not much lacing.

Ok. I feel obligated to write a full review of this, but I can't bring myself to. It's just not very good. It tastes like orange syrup with green hops. The end.

I'm a sucker for British style IPAs. This one was served in a shaker. It is a hazy bronze with a thin beige head.
I liked the fruity aroma and the nutty background.
The taste is bitter in a button down tweedy kind of way. It is also slightly nutty with hints of apple than more backend bitterness.
Silky smooth mouth with an easy drinking feel. This is a session IPA.

This came out as one of the hazier IPAs I've had. Fairly dark, copper color with a small head that diminished after a while. Moderate lacing.
Bitter, citrus hops on the nose. A little malt sweetness, hops remind me of orange or lemon peel.
Taste is also bitter. I love IPAs, but this loses a lot of the citrus and floral part of the hops to the bitterness of it. Instead of tasting the effervescence, I taste the bitter rind instead. Mellowed just a bit by the malts, but they're overpowered. Not much complexity. Body is decently full, probably the high point in this beer for me, but one of the few IPAs I'm not very ready to order again.
Maybe if I'd had some food to mellow it out, I'd be more of a fan, but this beer didn't leave me impressed, sadly.

Pale to amber in coloring, and slightly hazy. Sported a very nice white frothy head with excellent lacing. A rather attractive pint.
The aroma was dominated by citrus. It was very bright but allowed for some of the sweetness through. The taste was predominantly citrus hops; the mild maltiness was certainly quiet and didn't mind playing second fiddle. There was also some nice yeast flavors as well that complimented the beer. It was not very filling but there was a bit of a accumulating sweetness which probably prevented me from ordering another.
