Pacific Porter is a solidly black ale that begins with a sandpaper head of short duration. The aroma is decent and roasty with a slight presence of vanilla and no perceptible off-notes. As the beer warms to the room, it soon shows itself as laceless and headless.
A fair and workable porter that holds up for the duration of a pint. Its taste is customary with a decent showing of roasted grains and a modest vanilla accent.
