My serving of this beer was corrupted by major spoilage problems, the results of which bordered on painful. This iced-tea colored seasonal lager was served flat, laceless, and headless with a taste of bitter rotten fruit. It hurts to think about it.

I love Marzens. This one is good, too.
As appears to be a theme, this beer is surprisingly turbid for a lager. Maybe it didn't rest long enough. I'm used to good clarity and orange. This was dull bronze and opaque.
The aroma was nice though - sweet malt, not quite nutty, but a reasonable start.
The taste was quite good. Simple, sweet, filling, and satisfying. There's a bit more sweetness that seems almost extractish, but its not damaging to the overall taste. It could stand for a bit more nuttiness or Vienna type malt.
The beer has a nice carbonation level and drinks well. It also compliments food well.
