Served in standard pint, the beer is amber filled almost to the rim without much room for a head. It had sticky beige lacing.
I like aroma of caramel malts, bread and some subtle spicing.
The taste is slightly sweet with some caramel and a bit of a nutty note. Backend bitterness that reminds me of halertau (sp?) hops. It is balanced and true to style.
The mouth is slightly thick but that is cut by active carbonation.
It was a very easy drinker and a good beer to pair with food.
