The Red Belgian Wit was one of four seasonal offerings. The beer is garnet with a minimal head as it was poured almost to the rim. Spots of lacing all down the glass.
Nose is spices and malts.
I liked the different take on a wit. There is clove, a touch of white pepper, yeasts and malts. Something earthy late that is a bit misplaced but not a huge distraction.
The mouth has a surprisingly low carbonation level, but it seems to work ok with the beer.
Overall a beer that I'm glad I tried and would have on occasion.
