When in Beijing, try this one at least once. Pours to a yellow gold color, but not too dark. Has a slight bittersweet character to it, rather smooth with a light aftertaste. Very pleasant despite of the aftertaste. Smells faintly malty, but it is very drinkable. I thought about filling my fridge with these..

Thought you'd never think hops and Asian beer at the same time? This is the one that'll change your mind. Served on tap at a local Szechuan restaurant in Beijing. This brew tastes like it was brewed yesterday, wow, very fresh. Smells like whole hop flowers. Served in a 20 ounce dimpled mug. Very good malt backbone with fresh oily, hoppy flavor. Rich gold color decent enough head. Enjoyed this on Thanksgiving Day 2001. Celebrated with local co-workers with Beijing (Peking) Duck instead of turkey. A welcome surprise brew and my favorite so far on this trip to the far East.
