Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
Firstly, the lable has changed. I x-checked to the brewery website and the lable now just states 'Dunkel' rather than 'Dunkel Vollbier'.
L- Dark chestnut brown, clear, minimal head that fast clears to nil bubbles. Hmmm, shame.
S- Some toasty malts.
T- Sweet and watery. It tastes like a really poor adjunct.
F- As above.
O- I can't finish this, no chance. It's certainly the least enjoyable (being polite) of the last 100 new beers I've reviewed, quite possibly the last 200. It tastes like an adjunct and that sweetness is the most prominent feature of the whole beer. There is little else to it. Carbonation is very poor both in the glass and mouth. I've had about 100ml and sadly can go no further with it.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! Contains just the 'usual 4' trad ingredients; quite how it ends up tasting this artificial IDK. ps. My wife who knows her way around esp. German type beers took a similar view, additionally she noted it tasted more like Coke than beer.
500ml bottle BB: 22/11/2021 £2.99 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

Found single half-liter bottles of this locally, thought I'd give it a taste.
Poured from the tall brown bottle into my short Becher glass.
L -- Clear, deep chestnut brown with a creamy, light tan head that settles slowly.
S -- Dark bread crust nose with some light dark fruit notes.
T -- Sweetish, toasty, bready malts up front lightly spicy hops in the finish and mildly tart fruitiness in the aftertaste. An unattenuated, slightly sticky-sweet malt character lingers through the aftertaste.
M -- Medium-full body with a soft mouthfeel and slight syrupy character.
O -- Overall, I find this Dunkel to be a little too sweet, mildly cloying, and carrying that slight tartness a little too strong. That said, I have had many Austrian takes on Dunkel that have this similar character, so I don't wonder if it's a common trait for the Austrian version of the beer. Not as sweet up front and dry in the finish, like so many Bavarian Dunkels, but worth a taste for comparison.
