.33L emptied into a Pilsener.

A: Pours copper with a fizzy bone-white 2-finger head which quickly receeds to a thin ring. Spotty lace.

S: Rather light, but with a touch of grassy hops and barley malt. Bananas become apparent as it warms.

M: Good carbonation, light body.

T: Saaz hops, lightly sweet malt. Hints of vanilla. Clean finish with a slightly astringent aftertaste.

D: This beer was brewed specifically for a festival taking place in 2010 in Upper Austria which celebrates the Renaissance and Reformation. This is not a bad beer, and the label design does catch the eye, but there's nothing outstanding about it.
