Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Pale gold, pours clear with a brief cap of white bubbles. This is my usual/trusted glass so I'm surprised how quickly the cap cleared.
S- Mild, I just get some light grain here.
T- I get some of the 'rounded malt' aspect/feel that seems common to marzen beers. This is very trad, very pared back of unique ID, but it has a decent trad taste for a 4.7% lager.
F- This ^ rounded aspect makes this very sessionable (esp. at local Austrian prices!).
O- It's easy to drink and entirely inoffensive. However the flip-side of that, do not expect much unique or memorable character.
Review1955 + scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! Ingredients limited to the core trad ones. 'Family brewery since 1229'. Oh and ps. the labelling remains exactly as per the one shown above.
500ml bottle BB: 07/08/2021 £3.15 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
