This beer follows along the line of the other Gfrorens from the line. A big IPA is further fortified with the Eisbock method. What you usually get in this line of beers is a sweetness balanced by big hops. This time with the whiskey barrel ageing we get a fine whiskey flavour on top that is a little peaty and in general rather restrained. It merges nicely with some Papaya-like fruitiness. thick and smoth with some heat that is no surprise given the abv. I enjoyed the little bottle over 3 days in small sips. a real treat.
