creamy coffee top, smells of heavy malt base and the taste has a distinct coffee tang to it.... a different Schwarz than most i have had and very well worth the pursuit to find one, even if it's not a difficult pursuit at all..... from Old World Huntington Beach

Very dark brown almost black colour. Aromas of dark malty, and coffee grounds, and sticky dark fruit notes. Smokey malts and toasty, almost burnt-like flavour profile. Bitter, quite dry at the end, but with a consistent malt body underneath throughout the tasting, but only sweet at first before phasing out. Lingering dryness.
