.5L emptied into a Pokal.
A: Pours a deep, clear copper with a fluffy 1-finger bone white head which receeds to a thin ring. Very little lacing.
S: Sweet barley malts, caramel, perhaps molasses, light hops.
M: Medium bodied with good carbonation.
T: Toasted barley malts, followed by just the right amount of Saaz hops. Very well balanced. Crisp finish with a dry, slightly honey sweet, aftertaste.
D: This is very drinkable, interesting to say the least for a beer flying under the 'Bio' label. Something I will be purchasing more of.

Bottle or drafted, this is one of the better Austrian beers out there.
Color is a honey hued straw deeper than expected gold. Bellows of white fluffy head build up and slowly disintegrate after a hearty pour. Aroma is a bit grassy, almost white peppery, tingly. Flavor is relatively bitty in comparison to the competition. It has a nice grassy bitterness to it that goes great with an open faced smoked ham and cheese sandwich. It has a bready malt background that is a bit overbearing in comparison to the crispness of the hops. Easy drinking and far from boring.

Pours out to a hazy copper amber with a small head that subsides quickly, with bubbles lining the sides.
The smell is sweet, of honey and maybe a little apricot.
Wow. The taste is rather malty with just enough touch of bitterness to balance it out. Even though this is a lager, this tastes a bit more like an ale, but it does have that hops that ring throughout the taste.
Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side, and it's quite carbonated, like most lagers. The finish isn't the cleanest, with a bit of bready taste left in the mouth (which is a nice touch, in my opinion).
This one is among one of the more drinkable beers. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to try this out again.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
