Came in a standard pint a cola color with some reddish hue,a half finger off white head atop. Some lime and mild earthy chili's in the nose wich was an interesting mix.Sweet corn stand out on the palate with that hint of lime and earth, just a slight tinge of chili heat in the finish.I didn't know what this beer was before ordering other than it's style,a pleasant surprise, crazy easy to drink.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pilsner glass. Had a dark brown color and a cloudy, opaque consistency. There was an inch and a half of creamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A somewhat overly subdued aroma of corn, peppers, malt, and citrus.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of malt (not as much as in other schwarzbiers), a good shot corn, cayenne pepper (especially in the finish), and a mild citrus (lime). An interesting take on the schwarzbier flavor, with the pepper and lime making it much more interesting. Not super complex, but enjoyable.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp, lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is definitely a different version on a classical style. Certainly worth a shot.
