Cascade, Amarillo, and Citra hops contribute aromas of bright citrus and subtle melon to this American IPA. The addition of mango, a particularly juicy stone fruit, further accentuates the tropical character of the featured hops and balances the hop bitterness with a pleasant, fruity sweetness for your all-day drinking enjoyment. Set sail. Get tropical. Drink up.

12 oz. Can dated 069-21
Light golden haze, one finger fine white head. Full curtain lacing, full cap. No floaties or sediment.
Mango, grapefruit, along with pine aromas.
Pretty bitter citrus, like yuzu, overpowering the mango. Aftertaste has another blast of hop bitterness.
Light green bell pepper.
Light body, prickly hop mouthfeel, Dry all the way. Good carbonation.
The fruit flavors picked up as the glass warmed. Ok hot weather IPA.

Single can from the Yemassee KOA Campground store.
Pours a deep gold with a finger thick white head. Good retention.
Citrus taste with some mango coming through. Quite strong hoppy bitterness.
It's ok.

Relatively clear golden amber liquid with a good head and lots of lacing. Very good looking brew.
Nose is classic west coat ipa. Light sweet malt body. Mild bready notes, cereal graininess. A little pine, lots of citrus. Mangoes weave in nicely.
Taste is much the same. Good malt front. Heavy grapefruit, mangos in between. They bring out the tropical fruits in the hops. Hop oil lingers in the finish. Nice and dry with a long clean bitterness.
Light crisp feel with a medium weight. Quenching and refreshing.
A good solid ipa with a delightful tropical juiciness. A nice tasty, easy drinking ipa.

12 oz can, code of 338-20 on bottom of can. Julian date?
Clear, orange golden in color, thock white head. Nice tropical fruity hop aroma, definitely heavy on the mango. Taste is similar, a little juicy sweetness but good balancing underlying bitterness. Medium bodied. Paired well with spicy food.

12 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC ($1.99).
Flavor. Too dark and dank, it fails to bring out the bright fruity mangos. The bitterness is medium (or a touch higher) than average for the style; this seems incommensurate with the mango addition.
Feel. Unduly harsh. Medium body and carbonation.
Overall. Disappointing.

Poured from can to tulip glass. Dark orange in color, with a few fingers of foam that's here and gone. Some spotty lacing left behind. Aroma is typical IPA, sweet, caramel/biscuit malt. Touches of tropical fruit. Mango shines though on the flavor, with pine resin and a bitter pinch on the finish. Not too shabby.

Pours opaque light orange in color with lots of small bubbles. Faint odor of mango with nothing else on the nose. Flavor is mostly malt with very little hoppy bitterness. Strong bitter mango aftertaste. Mouth feel is best part of this beer, creamy and smooth.

Very attractive old school West Coast IPA body, with a clear, brownish-gold body and a big, creamy, lasting head of off-white foam.
Falls pretty short on the nose and tongue (especially the nose), as the malt profile is overwhelming and the hops are dominated by bitter resin and grapefruit. There’s a little semi-sweet mango on the tongue, but again, this thing hits my palette as highly overweighted by earthy, bready malt, which isn’t really what I expected or any looking for in an IPA. The feel is quite solid, well-carbonated and quite silky.

Citrus and mango hints. Crisp and fairly clear IPA. Limited head; nothing fancy. Worth getting if options are limited but better IPAs out there. Not a juicy NE if that’s what your looking for.
