Poured into a Samuel Adams perfect pint glass. No best by/brew date. Poured from a can.
Appearance: light ‘lager’ look. Small head, With minimal retention. Slightly hazy at the top of the glass, other wise very clear. No lacing.
Smell: slight lemon/citrus. Strongest scent is of the elderflower, giving a berry and slight floral scent. With hints of wheat.
Taste: not overly sour, taste is of heavy lemon flavor, and taste is akin to watered down lemon aid. No real taste of the berry flavor.
Feel: not a heavy beer at all, very light and drinkable.
Overall: would be a perfect summer beer for drinking while at the beach, lake, or just outside in general. Has a refreshing feeling of lemon aid, not very sour; so if you like sours for their sourness this might not be for you. For me, it’s the perfect amount of sourness. Can drink a few of these easily.
