The original Palmetto Ghost Rider was listed as a Chile style beer.
The ABV was 5.0
The 2019 version I just purchased was 6.2 ABV and the can says Pale Ale with Cherry and Ghost Pepper.

I never had the original one listed as a Chile beer, but based on the reviews, this version is as spicy as the comments were for the previous.
It is a golden amber. Some lacing but not considerable. No over powering smell from my perspective, actually pleasant. The taste is complex, but smooth and rewarding. It is the feel afterwards where the spice kicks in and it is hot. I have never had this style of American Pale Ale before so not quite sure this is how it should taste. It is not your atypical Pale Ale for sure, but depending on your taste this might be the beer for you, if you do not mind the spice kick.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
