.5 emptied into a pint glass.
A: Pours a deep brown with a 2 finger head which quickly recedes to a trace ring. Spotty lacing.
S: Full of sweet malts. Very little hops to speak of. Hints of fruit and spice.
M: Medium bodied, not watery like other mass-produced Dunkles.
T: Caramel malts come to the fore here, with a smokey aftertaste which lingers for a few seconds. The sweetness is somewhat kept in check by the hops, which bring a balance to this beer.
D: Overall, a good choice, but still a little too sweet for my palate.

No too bad. Bought this one for les than a buck in Graz. Has a light brown fizzy head, slowly disappears, dark brown beer. Nutty aroma, molasses, dark grain. Very light hop aroma. Quite sweet, a light body, somewhat watery maybe like a flat coke and looks like it also.
