Bottle 0.33L.
Clear golden body with a large, frothy, white head, mostly diminishing with some lacing, though; low density of tiny particles.
Moderate hoppy (flowers) and light-to-moderate malty (bread) aroma with some notes of white fruits.
Moderate sweet and light-to-moderate bitter flavour; short balanced finish.
Light-to-medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation; light metallic feeling in the finish.

I think this might have just become one of my favorite Austrian beers. Have seen it all the time everywhere but never really thought about giving it a try - until now. TBH it is almost like an adjunct with the exception that there is no foul taste nor does it lack anything, I would say it is a pretty decent lager, somewhat on the lighter side. For about a dollar it does the trick and it does it pretty well.

.5L emptied into a pokal.
A: Pours gold with a creamy white 2-finger head which receeds slowly to a clotted trace ring. Decent lacing.
S: Barley malt and faint hops on the initial smell, later a hint of citrus and vanilla.
M: Medium bodied with good carbonation.
T: Sweet malts come to the fore here with the hops providing some really nice high notes. For an export lager, the hops are really masked. Faint taste of old apples. Slightly astringent. Dry, tannic aftertaste.
D: A well-crafted beer, really smooth with a nice balance. Goes down easy and a good choice overall.
