Yet another on-tap only "pub exclusive" from the GLBC. Serve in a pint glass, this beers is a somewhat cloudy/hazy, medium amber brown color with an off-white head that's about an inch thick when first served to me that settles to a medium ring lining the inside of the glass. Not much lacing though. Aromas of slightly roasted caramel malt sweetness along with honey and some nut brown goodness. The taste is pretty much the same, with slightly roasted nut and caramel malt sweetness along with some honey. The hops are very light here. Has a very crisp, slightly prickly, yet somewhat smooth, medium bodies mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation. Easy to drink in a good way. A pretty solid brown ale here indeed.
