This beer is another on-tap only "pub exclusive" available only at the GLBC. Served to me in a pint glass, this beer draws a clear, light medium golden color with white head about 1/2 inch thick when first served that settles to a nice thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with some nice surface foam and food lacing. Aromas of mildly spicy fruitiness along with some malty sweetness. The taste is pretty much the same, with flavors of sweet caramel malts, some peppercorn spice, and fruity hints of dates and a bit of plum that is followed by just the slightest hint of hop bitterness. Has a crisp, mainly smooth, slightly oily, medium bodies mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Coats the inside of the mouth nicely and does not want to leave. Easy to drink in the manner well crafted beer ought to be.

Reviewing again on 4/3/2019 from a 12 oz. bottle that's been aging in my cellar for about 4 years now. Poured into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a fairly cloudy/hazy medim golden color with lots of streams of little bubbles rapidly and continuoisly rising to teh beer's surface along with little chunks of yeast sediment floating around in teh beer. Has nice, thick, creamy looking head that's over an inch thick when poured that has excellenet retention and nice lacing. Aromas of bready malts with come caramel sweetness and a bit of wheat along with a big of clove and banana and a hint of earthy hops. The taste is very similar, with bready malts and some wheat nones with some somewhat mild caramel ssweetness along with a big of clove and banana and a bit of earthy hop bitterness. Good flavor profile overall and well balanced. There's still a suprising amount of hop bitterness here for a beer that's about 4 years old. Has a somewhat crisp, slightly prickly, also extremely smooth and somewhat creamy, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish and somewhat dry aftertaste. This one aged pretty well I'd say.

Great Lakes High Striker.
No fancy introductory post on this one. Found it past date for 79 cents a bottle and figured why the hell not.
Look - Pours a very murked yellow with a three finger egg-white head that has thus far remanded half of its original appearance. Slight amounts of sediment are visible in the glass and carbonation appears to be on medium. Head retained well throughout the drink and the lacing was great. 4.75.
Smell - A large dose of that oh so typical Belgian yeast in a cocktail with hay and bubblegum. A bit of coriander but no fruits to be mentioned. 3.25.
Taste - High strung yeast and bubblegum are highly dominate. You can tell this is a low ABV Belgian style. But, admittedly this could pass pretty well for a St.Bernardus Extra 4. Crisp and clean, without a flavorful explosion. 3.75.
Feel - Light to medium bodied with a low to medium carbonation depending upon how big a sip you take. Sits slightly creamy and goes down like a dream. 3.75.
Overall - This review is rather short but there wasn't a whole lot to say about this beer. It's perfect for when you want something Belgian esque but don't want to too get wasted or break the bank. I'd say they did a pretty good job with what they decided to work with. Tasty even past its enjoy by. 3.75.

12 oz. bottle, enjoy by date 07/15/2015. Another new one to me from Great Lakes, acquired as part of the mixed Spring variety pack.
Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.
A - Pours a crisp pale golden orange. Just over a finger of frothy white head with decent staying power. Appears actively carbonated, with some cloudy sediment twirling in the glass.
S - Earthy, grainy, & wheaty. Earthy yeast & subtle clove spice. Subtle earthy hops are also noticeable in the background. The yeast seems to dominate.
T - Taste follows the nose: grainy & wheaty, with lots of earthy yeast and a very prominent amount of clove spice.
M - The feel is crisp & clean. Easy-drinking with good carb. A bit of earthy hop bitterness and clove spice lingers on the finish. Dry.
Overall, more of a witbier tasting ale than anything. Not my preferred style by any means.

Bright yeast, banana, clove, peppercorn and wheat in the scent. Earth, peppercorn, more muted yeast, clove, grass and a touch of citrus in the flavor.
