32oz growler filled at Heinen's in Mayfield Village, Ohio.
Growler poured into a tulip. Pours a burnt golden with decent transparency; small fluffy off-white head that fades leaving solid retention and lacing. The aromas have a nice balance between tropical fruit and malts. Hints of pineapple and peach along with some orange, grapefruit and caramel. The flavors basically follow the nose. More tropical fruit with a solid malt backbone. Subtle hints of citrus. Hints of pine. This one is pretty sticky. Mild spiciness. It finishes slightly warm, but the alcohol goes unnoticed for the most part. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy and smooth.
This is a nice IPA. It's appropriately named in more ways than one. Well done. Definitely worth checking out if you come across it.

Poured from a growler into a pint glass
A: Orange with a one-finger head
S: A balanced mix of hop smells - pine, earth and citrus
T: Orange/grapefruit/earth, some pine and malt notes come across as well
M: Medium-bodied, crisp, fairly dry overall
O: Given the name the malt doesn't come through much (not a bad thing) but the harmony cannot be emphasized enough. This is quite tasty and nearly perfectly balanced

Wow! Perfect grapefruit in a pint! This pub exclusive was a wonderful addition to the Great Lakes offering. Another Christmas trip dinner here, never a disappointment, so thankful.
