This is one of my favorite quads ever. So smooth, slightly sweet, way to easy drinking for 10+%. Dark color, nice head. Only sorry it isn’t easier to find regularly.

From the growler via Party Town in a snifter. This fine Belgian quad pours a
rich ruby tinged mahogany with a very nice head of off white foam that fades
fast to a thin ring, thin light layer, and sports some excellent sudsy lacing. Nose
of orchard fruit of tart cherries, peaches, candy sugars, and lightly herbal anise
notes. Flavors knock right on the door or a quad done right in America with
brown sugars and light notes of anise and heavier tones of cherries and dried
cranberries awash in candy sugar stewed in warming booze. Very nice mouth feel;
medium body, lightly slick, low carbonation that is lightly prickly, and a rich
fruit laden finish reminiscent of cherries, mild cranberries, and a hint of peaches
in a lightly coating package.
Overall, a hidden gem and a welcome one from a great brewery in the northern
part of the state. Worthy of the name sake and a fine tribute to a fine brewery.
Cheers

Pours a nice dark color with a nice head and lacing. Aroma had Belgian hints, the taste follows the nose with a nice Belgian flavor. A medium bodied well carbonated beer.
