22oz bomber purchased from GLBC gift shop today for $17.95 American dollars.
Vigorous pour into HF snifter yields 2 finger, thick, white foam which quickly dissipates to a thin rim. The brew is ruby-orange in color with a slight haze.
The aroma is all about the rum. Swirling of the snifter does bring forth some tropical notes of tangerine, coconut and spice. You also get hit with some boozy vapors and a bit of the barrel.
Ah, the rum. It's not subtle, but I love rum and rum-aged anything so note that when checking out this review. RUMM, vanilla, minimal tropical flavors that are crushed by the rum.
Medium to full body with a rum, boozy feel bleeding through.
I'm enjoying this brew but maybe for all the wrong reasons (see above). A bit if age may mellow and mingle the flavors.
