I ordered a Lorelei at the brewery. The bartender brought over what appeared to be Cuyahoga River water in a pint glass. At about 5% ABV, it probably has less alcohol than a glass of Cuyahoga River water.
Strong scent of roasted malts. The roasted malt flavor came through in the taste, but a slight sweetness created a caramel effect. Nonetheless, it was light and refreshing. Smooth and moderately carbonated. A great beer for a sunny day on the patio in Ohio City.

Just had this the other night at the brewery and this review is based off my notes. This is a pub exclusive that I did not think was available until I got to the brewpub. The beer was served to me in a pint glass with a hazy golden body and a two inch white head that didn't leave any lacing. The aroma had hints of yeast and malts. The taste was great, with a lot of flavor, the sweet malts hit you upfront but mellow out to some hop bitterness. The beer had medium carbonation with a noticeable amount of carbonation but it was crisp and was very easy to drink. Overall its another solid offering from Great Lakes and I'm glad that I got the chance to try it.

Had this on tap at the brewery during happy hour not too long ago. This beer is one of their on-tap only "pub exclusives". Served to me in a standard pint glass. This beer is a cloudy, medium brown gold color. Head was about an inch thick when drawn from the tap. Settled to a thin surface layer and ring lining the inside of the glass. Good lacing here. Sweet, roasted, wheat, and malty aromas filled my nostrils upon taking a whiff, along with a bit of caramel or maybe vanilla. Tastewise this beer is quite malty and sweet upfront. I detected a bit of a tart flavor too, just a hint. This is followed by some wheat and is rounded out with some floral hop bitterness. Very nice balance of flavors here and quite good indeed! This beer has a crisp and smooth mouthfeel with a full body and moderate to heavy carbonation. Very easy to drink in the way great beer should be! Another winner from Great Lakes!
