This is a special, one-off collaboration beer brewed by Great Lakes Brewing Company, Boss Dog Brewing, and Butcher And The Brewer for Cleveland Beer Week 2019. I got a growler of this. Poured into one of my pint glasses, this beer is a very dark brown, almost black color with a nice, fluffy looking tan head that's about an inch thick when first poured that eventually settles to a nice surface layer, a very thick ring lining the inside of the glass, and excellent lacing. Aromas of roasted malts with slight hints of caramel and chocolate notes that gives way to big piney and earthy hop notes. Not a very complex flavor profile, but really spot on for the style. Really an excellent flavor profile. Has a crisp, somewhat smooth and frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish and a roasty, after aftertaste. Glad I got for try this one that I may never drink again.
