Pours a very dark brown, opaque in the glass except around the lip. Smell is wonderful, could be mistaken for a real hot chocolate, rich, milky and chocolaty. Flavor is a fairly standard stout, with only hints of the hot chocolate the smell promises. For a stout, the body is light and the carbonation is a little strong. Overall, this is a nice milk stout, but the smell promise more than the taste delivers.

Poured from 8oz can into pint glass in December 2025, that I purchased at a distributor this past week.
Appearance: Very dark black with 2-finger head. The head was dark brown, and disappeared after a minute. It left very little lacing on the glass, and no head remained after a minute. The head had large bubbles.
Smell: Strong mix of aromas filled the room as soon as the can was opened. Roasted coffee, maple, and chocolate aromas. Not much hop style citrus or pine aromas.
Taste: There is taste of coffee and especially chocolate. Also, some maple and roasted malt flavors. Flavors are moderate and not overly bold. There is a medium alcohol presence that matches 5.5% advertised. A sweet aftertaste with edge of coffee, that is really enjoyable.
Mouth-feel: Moderate, but with an extremely smooth and creamy body.
This is a good Milk Stout, and one of the best I have ever drank. It has a variety of flavors that adds a nice complexity to the beer. This is very smooth and enjoyable to drink. I would buy this again.

The head disappeared quickly, the flavor didn’t seem entirely natural, and the mouthfeel was thin.

Well done with some good restraint on the PB flavors

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured an opaque dark khaki ring head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had sweet chocolate peanut butter notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with milk chocolate malt base with vanilla and peanut butter presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Poured a sexy used motor oil black. A solid inch of pale tan head that reduced to a skim coat. A small bit of lacing.
Smells remarkably like Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout. Lots of Hersey's Syrup. Milk chocolate. Peanut butter is there, but very much in the background..
Taste is rich chocolate up front with faint peanut butter and vanilla on the back end. I don't know that I'd call it a true representation of a Peanut Butter Blossom. but its tasty enough. Definitely what I'd call a dessert beer.
As with last year's version, mouthfeel is disappointingly thin, bordering on watery..

12oz can served in a Libby globe porter glass. 17:50:52 03/2/25 40812C.
Appearance: Dark brown, bit of a cola brown at the edges. Thin off-white head, no lacing.
Smell: Definite strong milk chocolate / peanut butter cookie smell! Does smell quite a bit like peanut butter blossom.
Taste: Very similar to how it smells, but a lower in intensity. Definite chocolate note, with a hint of peanut butter. Lightly toasted malt, and a little tiny bit of sweetness lightly balanced with some bitterness at the finish. Definitely a sweet stout.
Mouthfeel: A little thin for a milk/sweet stout. Prickly carbonation, just under fizzy.
Overall / Drinkability: There is part of this beer that comes across more like a flavored malt beverage than a stout, such that I think I'd need to partner this with cookies to really get the best out of it. By itself it has great smell and taste, but it's missing other components. One is enough per evening.

On tap at Apothecary Ale House in Morgantown WV.
Peanut butter blossoms arise! The aroma gives a nice, salty peanut and chocolate aroma.
I like that this is not overly syrupy and sweet, quite drinkable and just enough sweetness that you know it's all about the cookie. Definite flavors of peanut, cocoa, and a hint of roasted coffee.

I heard about this from an online video and the individual was gushing about it. It is Great Lakes Cookie Exchange Peanut Butter Blossom milk stout. It's a 5.5% milk stout that pours a dark brown with a brown head. The nose is chocolate with a hint of milk. Sadly that does not translate to the flavor. It's about as thin bodied as water and the flavor is a ghost of what you would expect. I had much higher hopes for this between other people and the smell, but it's easily skippable.

12 ounce can, best before date of 03/26/25 stamped on the bottom of the can. Served in a Rastal Craft Master One glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stayed around for a little while. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the peanut butter stands out to me, along with some dark chocolate, roasted malt and vanilla. The brew tastes similar to the aroma, but there's also some cream and grainy flavors. Definitely has a cookie flavor, and smells sweeter than it tastes. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one a lot, worth picking up a 6 pack if you come across some!
