Yet another on-tap only “pub exclusive” being enjoyed by me at the GLBC brewpub. Served in a stein mug, This beer draws a clear, light to medium golden color with a nice, fluffy looking white head that’s about 1/2 inch thick when first drawn and served. Head eventually settles to a thick white lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface along with some nice lacing. Aromas of some bready, zesty malts, along with some some earthy, herbal hops. A very similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned bready and zesty malts along with earthy, herbal, and just slightly spicy hops that add just the right amount of bitterness. Not the most complex flavor profile, but very well balanced and spot on for the style. Has a crisp, also smooth and frothy, medium bodied mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish, and all of the flavors linger nicely on my palate after each ship. Another excellent beer here from the fine folks at the GLBC!
