On tap at the brewpub.
The appearance was a semi-transparent dark burnt red color with a slight transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace to fill a bar pour's kind of slim white foamy head. No lace.
The aroma had some smooth sweet citrus and bitter piney hops up front. Malts showcase themselves in a sturdy fashion for a good balance.
The flavor was moderately bitter yet mostly up front pulling the malts into the balance of those hops, very low amount of sweetness. Malty yet sort of old school aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied almost seeming to be slightly under causing a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt somewhat low, non-distracting yet coinciding with the malt bill. ABV felt as projected.
Overall, pretty good AIPA as one that one can see coming from the Bobcat. Good for me.
