Off the tap on 01/30/09 this brew was a cloudy gold color. The head was one-finger and white, the retention was good and the lacing minimal. The aroma was light, citrus hops and floral hops atop pale malt. The flavors were similar, but bleached. Though the usual notes of lemon zest and orange plus sweet spices (coriander in particular) were present it was washed out and unassertive. The mouthfeel was smooth, the body medium/light and the carbonation par for the course. I enjoyed it, but also considered it a pale version of fairly easy style. Original Gravity 1.043, IBU: 8.
