This is a gold colored Czech Pilsner style beer, with a pronounced spicy bitterness. The bitterness is from Žatec/Saaz hops imported from the Czech Republic along with German Hallertau Hersbrucker hops & the hop aroma is Styrian Golding delivering a blast of flavour. A tight creamy head compliments its velvety body.

Pours a light pale golden color with a small head into my glass.

Aroma is full of bready malt with a detectable hop bite in the nose.

Taste is full of buttery, grainy malt that melts in the mouth followed by grassy hops that do not overwhelm.

Mouthfeel has lingering notes of buttery malt and grassy hops. Its what I expect for the style.

Like a much less bitter cousin to prima pils. Not as harsh. Highly drinkable. Wish it were bottled. Another well-done example of this style that encompasses both the german and czech interpretations.
