These scores were taken from notes found from tasting this at the Extreme Beer Festival and which scores were never previously entered. Notes show that the overwhelming characteristic was a decent and drinkable very black lightly sweet lightly Bourbon charactered porter. Decent and pleasant drink.

Reviewed from notes.
Pours a dark brown color with a short off-white head that falls to a thin cap and a bit of a collar. The nose carries a good amount of oak with a bit of malt sweetness and some mild dark fruits. Touch of chocolate. Bourbon is present in a moderate amount. The flavor hits some wood notes and mild bourbon plus a bit of sweet malt and some light alcohol. Body is medium with a good wood presence. Pretty nice overall; another pretty good wood-aged brew from Bobcat.
