Crystal clear dark golden color with light beige head. Aroma is mostly malty with bread and crust notes, some phenols as well. Taste is bittersweet, malty, toasted grains, light sugar flavor, earthy hoppy finish with lingering bitterness, unfortunately also some dish rags and mineral notes. Medium body with medium minus carbonation. Flawed but not really bad.

500 ml, BB reads 25. March 2011, into tulip. Light amber body with good clarity topped by frothy, white head with good retention and stickage to the walls. The aroma is maltiness with toasty and nutty overtones, light spiciness probably originating from usage of noble hops, some unobtrusive alcohol. Malty flavor with toasty notes, spiciness derived from either noble-hop usage or alcohol and evident hoppy bitterness with moderately dry finish. Bittersweet aftertaste indicating presence of both hops and malt. The body is medium with rather soft carbonation.
